The Online Super Series draws to a close this weekend with a $200 buy-in Main Event scheduled for Sunday which could offer some incredible value to players.
The America´s Cardroom Online Super Series II which started 2 weeks ago concludes this Sunday with the $200,000 guaranteed Main Event. And if f previous guaranteed prize pool tournaments in this series are an indication of what lays ahead, there could be a massive overlay.
Although the series has been generally a success, the higher buy-in tournaments have been struggling to meet their guarantees and, based on last week´s feature $200 buy-in tournament which only attracted enough players to cover 90% of its $150,000 guarantee, there could be some incredible value in this weekend´s climax to the series.
Set Your Clocks for Sunday (or Monday)
The potentially undersubscribed Main Event starts at 7.00pm server time (please be aware that server time is Eastern Daylight Time which is GMT -6) and has three hours late registration – so players in Madrid, Paris and Berlin could actually get half a good night´s sleep and join the game at 5.00am on Monday morning. Each player has 10,000 starting chips and unlimited re-entries (not re-buys) are available for the first twelve levels of fifteen minutes.
Because of the real possibility of the Main Event being substantially under-subscribed, America´s Cardroom is hosting a “Super-Satellite” on Saturday at 8.00pm server time which is offering a guaranteed 100 seats to the Main Event. The buy-in for the “Super-Satellite” is $60.00 + $3.00, but there are a host of qualifiers for this tournament running throughout the day with buy-ins from $0.55.
Players in the “Super-Satellite” get 6,000 starting chips and unlimited re-entries/late registration is available for three hours (twelve levels), but even with this superb opportunity to grab a seat in the target event, it is still likely that America´s Cardroom will be putting their hands deep into their pockets to top up the prize pool. If you didn’t sign up yet I think this is a good moment to do it, or read our 2013 Americas Cardroom review here for more information.
