The rapidly growing Winning Poker Network has announced an 82-event Online Super Series for the New Year with more than $1 million guaranteed in prize money.
US online poker players who may have looked on enviously as the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) was in full swing will now have the chance to compete in an online poker series of their own. The Winning Poker Network – which includes such skins as True Poker and the newly-arrived Black Chip Poker – has announced that the Online Super Series II will take place from January 13th to 27th 2013.
The series will consist of 82 events over the 15 days and will guarantee a total prize fund in excess of $1 million. Although the range of poker disciplines will be limited to Texas Hold´em and Omaha, many of the events will have more affordable buy-ins than seen in other poker series and there will be an exceptional range of satellites to each event – the most popular likely to be the Super Satellite to the Main Event which guarantees 100 seats to the series $200,000 feature tournament on Sunday 27th January.
Players in Europe and the rest of the world will not be excluded from participating in the Online Super Series as many of the weekend guaranteed tournaments start at 3.00pm ET (8.00pm GMT), although those who want to take a shot at the leaderboard competition may need to play through the night and compete in the later events if they want to be in with a chance of winning the sterling silver champion´s bracelet, or any of the other prizes available for being one of the most consistent players in the series.
The first of the satellites for the Online Super Series are scheduled to start soon and, if you have not played on the Winning Poker Network for a while, you might be impressed at the improvements that have been made to the software and the increased traffic now witnessed on the throughout most of the day. If you have not played on the Winning Poker Network at all, check out Black Chip Poker and download their software to qualify for a 100% first deposit match bonus of up to $1,000.
